Al-Qamar Lajpal, a leading healthcare provider, is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Nurses to provide personalized medical care to patients within the Islamabad and Rawalpindi region. As a Home Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals who require medical assistance in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, personalized nursing care to patients in their homes, adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Assess patients’ medical conditions, monitor vital signs, and document observations accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including doctors, therapists, and family members, to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare management, disease prevention, and medication instructions.
• Monitor and manage medical equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and comfortable environment.
• Report any changes in patients’ conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals promptly.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing license/certification from the Pakistan Nursing Council.
• Proven experience as a Home Nurse or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to accurately assess patients’ conditions and provide appropriate care.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying work environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
• Fluent in English and Urdu; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
